Medir made incidence in the forest and in the environmental part of the clousure of cork, affirming that the forests of cork oaks they can help to palliate some of the main global environmental problems how they would be: the climatic change, the loss of biodiversity, the degradation of the ecosystems, the deforestation and the desertization. Likewise, the President of Retecork, he introduced the main characteristics of the cork sector how they are the activity of the Peel of the Cork and the forests of cork oaks, and, he also related some of the bases to back up the sector and a series of concrete proposals like active forest politics, to give support to campaigns of recycling and indicate on the bottles of wine the type of clousure among other.
The director of the ICSuro, Manel Pretel, explained how the sector of the cork has become a modern, dynamic and innovative industry through the investment in I+D, of the quality assurances|quality controls and the normalization. In a second part, he|she|it portrayed it are the physical, mechanical, chemical, organolèptiques estates|properties of the cap|plug of cork that which make that it is the only blockage, that we can affirm, it|he|she preserves and it|he|she improves the quality of the wine. Likewise, it|he|she highlighted the almost inexistent incidence of the TCA recognized by some of the most important prescriptors in subject matter of wines at international level, like the acquaintance Robert Parker.
For finishing one comparative was made among the three current|up-to-date systems of blockage: cork, nut and plastic, at level of raw material, broadcast|emission gases CO2, energy consumption for the manufacture of the cap|plug and waste. Affirming that the cap|plug of cork is the only natural, renewable and biodegradable system of blockage, it|he|she generates less broadcasts|emissions of C02 (restaurativa industry), low consumption energy in its|his|her|their manufacture and 100% recyclable.
As a conclusion it became detached that "to choose cap|plug of cork not only it|he|she improves the planet and the wine, but offers an opportunity of differentiation in the hold, the restoration and the trade of the wine".
