On the 14th, 15 and 16 of last August, there celebrated 19 º Fair of Catalunya's Wine and 14 º trying cheese to Ca The Prune, in Pals.
Retecork together with the Cuina de L'Empordanet and the Catalan Institute of the Cork took advantage of the fair to promote a campaign of recycling stopper of cork.
For several months, these institutions are promoting the use of cork closures for wine and champagne closure because the cork has proved the perfect finish to preserve the best vintage and to offer the best wines. When the consumer removes the cork from the bottle and start to enjoy your wine, this is helping to preserve the environment. Once the cork removed, this can be recycled and begins a second life in its many applications: flooring, insulation, accessories, among others.
