The President of Retecork, Lluís Medir, the acting Director of the Catalan Institute of Cork, Manel Pretel and President of the Association of Cuina de l'Empordanet, Joan Cuadrat, took the agreement to uphold the message that the cork is the ideal material in the stopper of bottles of wine and champagne. In the case explicit, representatives of the Cuina de l'Empordanet made a commitment to give strong preference to wines with cork covered in the letters of its restaurants.
In conclusion, it was agreed to extend the agreement to other groups to also sign and continue adding partners to be able to spread the message to all audiences and to the final consumer.
